Budels

For over 145 years, brewing is practiced in the Brabant Budel. In 1870 Gerardus Arts started brewing beer "De Hoop". A name he chooses 'in the hope that everything will go well'. The anchor, the symbol of 'hope', still enjoys the logo of the brewery. Now, many years later, the Budelse Brewery is led by the fourth generation of Arts, and is extremely successful in the Netherlands and in several European countries. Tradition and craft are still the basic elements of Budels Beer. Budels beer is brewed from soft water from Brabant's source, purebred barley, the most sophisticated hops and a yeast culture with its own character. The Budelse beers get all the rest to mature. This creates a balanced and full flavor.
