As an independent family brewery, they have enjoyed freedom since 1825. The freedom to steer their own course and only do what feels right. The freedom not to flatten the flavour of beer, but to enrich it and continuously search for innovative flavours. They have experienced this freedom for eight generations and you can taste it in the 16 speciality beers.

They started with a top-fermenting beer that cost 80 guilders per 'big tub' and then developed into a company with no less than 20 different beers and a production of 110,000 hectolitres per year. The family knows how to pass on entrepreneurship and innovative strength from generation to generation. No world wars or crises throw them off course. And why? Because they know how to adapt like no other, do not shy away from developments and rely on their suppliers and employees.
