Zeero
Since 1969, the family business has been producing wines in the beautiful Tuscan hills. These wines are appreciated and exported to different parts of the world. In addition to the winery, the family wanted to start a parallel project that led them to reflect on their passion, namely producing quality wine and haematology.
They were looking for a good solution and alternative for all those people who cannot or do not want to drink alcohol for various reasons, but do not want to deny themselves drinks with their meals. In doing so, they have also considered those who want to give themselves a period of sobriety to help restore the liver, the organ involved in alcohol metabolism and the organ most exposed to the toxic effects of alcohol. Pregnant women who want to abstain from alcoholic beverages during pregnancy have also been considered. In addition, they looked for an alternative for people who need to drive but do not want to give up the pleasure of good food and drinks during a cosy evening with friends.
This led to the production of Zeero, in which the rich substance of wine is respected, and only the alcohol is extracted by mechanical and non-chemical methods. This is to keep the taste of the wine and its healthy substances intact as much as possible, while retaining high amounts of resveratrol and other polyphenols with antioxidant properties, in addition to very few calories.
